Wire Sawing / Cutting

Wire Sawing is a flexible sawing technique that can be used to cut large and expansive areas.  The wire sawing system uses a series of guide pulleys to draw a continuous loop of diamond-studded wire through a cut.  It is a fast, safe and cost effective way to cut structures of any depth and length.

Wire sawing is ideal for removing large sections of heavily reinforced concrete, such as piers, towers, bridge sections and cutting concrete in areas where workspace is restricted.  Breaking into existing structures like a basement, servicing tunnel or other part of an inhabited building in the process of alteration or renovation works.

Typical Application:

  • Difficult cuts in remote, restricted or hazardous locations
  • Massive, bulk structure removal
  • Underwater Cutting
  • Virtually unlimited concrete thickness
